The long wait is finally over, after speculations and rumors claiming that Bon Jovi will release a new album and possibly go on tour this year, the band's frontman has finally spoken.
Jon Bon Jovi revealed in his interview with People that he is indeed working on a few songs and has already recorded few tracks after he was seen in a New York studio.
"I was in the studio all day working on the new record. I walked here from the studio," he said. "I just read the paper, it gives you an opportunity to write something ... It's early but I'm about a dozen songs in. I feel good."
The rumors about the new Bon Jovi album sparked following reports from Media Mass claiming that their source is positive that the frontman has already recorder eight new tracks for the record, however everything has been kept underwraps as it's still in its early stages of development.
"It's still in the early stages," the source explained. "He's got security on the doors to ensure no-one hears a whisper."
In addition to the new album, Bon Jovi is also rumored to possible have a reunion tour with the band's former guitarist and founding member Richie Sambora.
Sambora, who left the group in 2013 to "make his own music" and "a few shows with his own band" has revealed that there is "no bad blood" between him and the rest of the band members.
"There's no bad blood with me any more. I love Jon, and I still see the possibility of a return," the former guitarist said. "There are just a few steps I want to - need to - take."
"It hurts me that more and more untrue things have come out in the media," he said. "I just wanted calmer waters, and just do something for myself. We had just finished with another tour... (and) I saw a year of other priorities for me."
If the said album would materialize this year, fans are speculating that a tour might happen sometime next year.
