In the last "The Originals" season 2 episode, viewers saw Rebekah (Masie Richardson-Sellers) discover more disturbing information about the body she's inhabiting.
As it turns out, taking over Eva Sinclair's body might just be for the greater good.
Eva, before getting hijacked by the youngest Mikaelson sister, killed and channelled the powers of young witches.
And if the last scene in "They All Asked For You" is anything to go by, Rebekah doesn't seem to have fully taken control of the shady witch's body.
"As an actor, it's an amazing opportunity to be able to play two characters at once, but also it's scary for Rebekah," Richardson-Sellers told TV Fanatic recently.
"She's in a very vulnerable position now, and also for everyone else, we've never seen this happen before. This is new territory for everyone whereby the host body's waking up."
So what kind of danger is Rebekah facing for the rest of "The Originals" season 2?
The solution, as the new Rebekah Mikaelson actress revealed, isn't as easy as killing her off and waiting for her soul to jump to another body.
"She's in a human body, so if they kill the human body, Rebekah's pretty much lost. So it's a matter of how are they going to fight Eva without hurting Rebekah, so yeah, she's in a lot of trouble," she explained.
According to "The Originals" season 2's newest character, however, Eva Sinclair is not just some evil power-hungry witch.
"We're going to learn about why she is the way she is, which is great, so definitely watch for that. We know she was in the asylum and she's been dealt with before, so how's she going to be dealt with this time," she teased.
Meanwhile, in next Monday's episode, Rebekah will realize that her host body is trying to regain control. This will push Marcel to question Vincent (the witch taken over by Finn in the beginning of "The Originals" season 2).
According to Richardson-Sellers, she will be turning to Davina and Freya to help her figure out the problem.
"But obviously since it's new territory, everyone's trying to figure out what could we possibly do," she added.
