Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married last month on a private island, but one person who is close to the actor wasn't there at the wedding.
Vanessa Paradis didn't attend the nuptials of her ex-boyfriend but her two children with him were there.
The 51-year-old Hollywood superstar bought the island while he was still living with the 42-year old singer.
"I don't think I'd ever seen any place so pure and beautiful," Depp referred to the island as reported by Vanity Fair. He even named some of the beaches after his children Jack and Lily-Rose.
Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have been together for 14 years, but he never proposed marriage to her. Despite the break up and getting married to a younger actress, the French singer still managed to send a wedding gift to the newly-married couple.
According to The Times, Paradis sent Johnny Depp and Amber Heard a toaster; and this isn't just an ordinary toaster - it's a revenge toaster.
"You're as boring, bland and predictable as ...watching a slice of toast," it reportedly said to the actor.
Entertainment.ie reported that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star's wedding gift to the 28-year-old actress is a hand-me-down.
He gave her the luxurious yacht that he gave to his former girlfriend. The name of the yacht was changed from Vajoliroja (named after Vanessa, Lilly-Rose, and Jack) to Amphitrite (named after the ancient Greek queen of the sea). The actor also bought a male and female Shetland ponies for the new bride.
A few days after Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's wedding, Vanessa Paradis was seen kissing her new boyfriend Benjamin Biolay. They were spotted in Los Angeles and she was like declaring "anything Johnny can do I can do better," as reported by Mail Online.
