Yi Sport is made from metal composite materials that runs on an Ambarella 17LS processor boasting a Sony Exmor R BSI CMOS 16-meagpixel sensor.
The American made action camera, on the other hand, sports a 12-meagpixel sensor that's capable of shooting in low light, which can deliver cinematic quality videos.
The GoPro Hero 4's wide angled lens is one of its main selling point, and the Yi Sport is confident that it could deliver with its wide 155-degree lens.
Both action cameras could be accessed using a mobile app via WIFI, where users could easily view and transfer photos and videos straight from the gadget.
The Xiaomi Yi Sport boasts a video support reosotion with 1080p that could run at 60 frames per second or 1080p at 30 FPS, 720 at 120 FPS or 720p at 240 FPS.
