Miley Cyrus had a run in with some very bad luck early Saturday morning. A man armed with scissors has been arrested outside Miley Cyrus' Los Angeles home, after he tried to break into her home.
TMZ reports that early Saturday morning, cops responded to a 911 call from Miley Cyrus' LA home, where a man named Jason Luis Rivera had jumped the fence carrying a pair of scissors. The intruder was quickly arrested.
This is not the first time that an intruder has tried to break into the "Party in the U.S. A" singer's house. In early August, officers were dispatched to Cyrus' house after a home invasion and possible shots fired were reported. The request for help turned out to be a prank call known as "Swatting," designed to trick the police.
According to the report, as police further searched him for weapons he told police, "I am a friend of Miley Cyrus. I am. She's my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years."
He reportedly told people at Cyrus's residence that he hoped to see the singer. She was not home at the time of the incident.
The man reportedly refused to leave the property by those who were at the home, and lit candles while he was there before police arrived.
Saturday's arrest of Rivera was captured on film by KTLA 5, who also reported that he was arrested for burglary and trespassing, as he was caught behind a locked security gate on Cyrus' property.
