The entire "Empire" TV series cast are all over the news.
Whether on music or drama, they getting bigger and bigger each week. The Fox musical drama has been breaking viewership records ever since it debut in January.
Led by Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, "Empire" tells the story of members of family who fight each other for control of their own music label and fight their own demons. Each character in the show has endeared to the fans, so are their songs.
When the soundtrack of "Empire" was released, it instantly attracted thousands of buyers in record stores and is now on pace to sell 125,000 copies.
The show has produced a lot of epic and catchy tracks throughout its 10 episodes, all of them representing the situations the characters are currently in. Most of them have become among the most downloaded on music sites.
Despite this great reception, some "Empire" TV Series cast are still surprise that the whole album sells big time, even challenging Madonna's "Rebel Heart" at number one.
What does the "Empire" TV series cast feel about this? Taraji P. Henson, who plays the fan favourite Cookie Lyon, thinks they should get an award for it. Of course, she only said it for fun.
"Who saw this coming?" Taraji P. Henson said, before declaring: "I need a GRAMMY."
As for newcomer and local hip-hop sensation Bryshere Gray who plays Hakeem, he thinks everything that is happening in the show is amazing.
"It's amazing. It's just an honor," the young "Empire" TV series cast said.
Bryshere Gray, Taraji Henson, and the rest of the "Empire" TV series cast will return for their two-episode finale next week. The two episodes were titled "Die But Once" and "Who I Am." Read the synopsis below:
