"Terminator 5: Genisys" will hit theaters on July 1, 2015, less than three months from now.
And while fans are patiently waiting to see Arnold Schwarzenegger back as the life-saving cyborg in the franchise, there has been news that there are two sequels already in development.
However, the 67-year-old action star is reportedly returning only for one more "Terminator" movie, The Arnold Fans exclusively reported.
"Yes, of course, next year," Schwarzenegger reportedly said when asked if he'll join "Terminator 6."
Schwarzenegger failed to mention if he'll be back for "T7."
In line with this, "Terminator 5: Genisys" trailer featured the beloved cyborg sporting a gray hair where he has obviously aged, possibly a hint that his character would be retiring in the near future.
"The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath," he told MTV News. "It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."
Arnold Schwarzenegger also mentioned the reason of him not being involved in the fourth installment of the "Terminator" franchise, claiming that while he's sad that his priorities forced him to not join the sequel, he is now very much glad that he's back to reprise his role in "Terminator 5: Genysis."
"I was upset that I couldn't be in the fourth Terminator, because I was governor [of California]," he admitted. "So they did the fourth one without me, it made me cry a little bit. But I did say, 'I'll be back,' so now I'm back again and it's going to be really terrific."
"Terminator 5: Genysis" is scheduled for release in July 1, 2015.
