CW's "The Flash" was out for almost one month but just hold tight as it is sure to be back on March 17. Most "The Flash" episode guide released over the past weeks featured the returning villains of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin). There is also a clip with Tom Canavagh's Dr. Harrison Wells about to reveal who he really is. That he is the Reverse Flash. The villains are about to boomerang their way back into the life of but what about the love life of fastest man on earth? Has his feelings for childhood friend Iris flown away for good?
In the comics, Barry and Iris West (Candice Patton) ended up together. However, in the latest episodes of the CW superhero show, they are far from becoming official couples. Iris is currently dating Eddie Thawne (Rick Cosnett), the Scarlet Speedsters' colleague in the police station while Barry is now with Linda Park (Malese Jow), Iris' officemate at the Central City Picture News. With them finding their respective partners, many are asking, are they still the end game? The latest "The Flash" episode guide from Natalie Abrams of the Entertainment Weekly says otherwise.
"That question will be answered very soon-like in next week's episode," Abrams wrote when a fan asked for a "The Flash" episode guide relating to the Barry-Iris relationship.
"When the Weather Wizard returns seeking vengeance on Joe, Barry and Iris will be caught in the crosshairs, causing them both to reevaluate some secrets they've been keeping."
So the Weather Wizard may be the key for the two to revive their romance, or at least realize that they belong to each other. This villain will appear in the "Out of Time" episode. Check complete "The Flash" episode guide below:
"Mark Mardon aka The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) appears in Central City intent on avenging his brother Clyde's death, and sets his sights on Joe (Jesse L. Martin), who shot Clyde. When Mardon attacks Joe and Barry, Barry is able to super-speed them to safety but Mardon gets away. Barry warns Joe not to go after a meta-human alone but Joe doesn't listen and ends up in grave danger. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) looks into the night the team captured the Reverse Flash and realizes something doesn't add up and begins to wonder whether Joe was right about Dr. Wells. Barry and Linda (guest star Malese Jow) end up on an awkward double date with Eddie and Iris."
