'Orphan Black' Season 3 Premiere, Spoiler, And Update: Cosima Is Going To Die? Series Creator Speaks

| By

When "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere, there will be new clones. As you probably know by now, Ari Millen's Mark has multiple copycats. Male clones will invade the show and during the off-season, the BBC America sci-fi show teased fans of what new clones will look like. One of those people already have a peek at is Rudy, the creepy military-trained hitman who also goes by the name Scarface. In one video, he was talking face-to-face with Tatiana Maslany's Sarah Manning.

It is okay to feel excited about the "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere because of the arrival of a diverse range of male clones. However, you might feel sad as the season progresses because the X and Y chromosome built clones are meant to kill their female counterparts. All clones have their solid fan base and for sure, seeing one of them go will leave the Clone Club in melancholy.

One of those who has always been danger of dying is Cosima Niehaus, the bisexual graduate student studying evolutionary developmental biology. If the male clones don't get her, she might be killed by her disease that is similar to what killed Katja, the red-haired German clone in the earlier episodes of the first season. According to Tatiana Maslany herself, one of the seestrahs might be killed off. However, she didn't say whether it will take place on the "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere or who will it be.

As for series creator John Fawcett, Cosima's health will always be something they always take time to look at.

"We have the conversation. You know, Cosima's health is always a big concern," Fawcett told the Entertainment Weekly when asked about Cosima and her current health status.

"The fact that the Leda clones are ill and have historically in the past have become ill and died and that is potentially the track that Cosima is heading down-that is very much something that drives our girls forward to try and find an answer and to try and find a cure. If there is any way of solving it, that is what we want to find. And having Cosima sick and her life in danger is important to us. And it keeps people on edge."

Do you think it is Cosima who will die? "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere is on April 19 and will air on BBC America, AMC, IFC, SundanceTV, and WeTV.
