Yesterday, HTC has finally announced the pricing of its latest flagship on its local event in Taiwan. The company has also confirmed the rumored 64GB variant of the HTC One M9.
According to a report from ePrice, the HTC One 9 32GB variant will be priced at 21,900 Taiwan Dollars ($690), and 23,900 TWD ($754) for the 64GB variant.
The black and silver variants will be available on its launch, while the gold and pink might be available until April.
The HTC One M9 will be officially launched in Taiwan on March 16, and is expected to be available in local carriers on March 23. Other reports claim that it will hit some select Asian countries.
While its release in other regions particularly the US and Europe is still unknown, GSM Arena reports that HTC One M9 might offer a lower price tag in the US as a local retailer B&H has put a $649 price tag on the One M9. The retailer also listed that HTC's 2015 flagship will be available for purchase on March 25.
The HTC One 9's design has disappointed its expectators when it first appeared at the Mobile World Congress, but its 5-inch screen which renders a 1080p display, a Snapdragon 810 processor supported by a 3GB of RAM, a 2840mAh battery, a 20-megapixel rear camera, an UltraPixel camera on its front, and an expandable memory of up to 128GB is reportedly worth the price tag.
In addition, the One M9 runs on Android 5.0 along with HTC's new Sense 7.0 user interface.
Meanwhile, its tough contender the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will be available starting on April 10. The Korean phone manufacturer is said to launch the phone in simultaneous events in select countries.
