Katie Holmes has been rumored to have a not so good relationship with her "Dawson's Creek" co-stars after the hit young adult series concluded.
And while the public are wondering why, Busy Philipps may have answered the question in her interview with "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen.
The "Dawson's Creek" alum who portrayed the role of Audrey Little, Joey Potter's college best friend in the show's last season, shared a rather shocking revelation about her friendship or lack thereof with Katie Holmes.
Holmes reportedly just stopped talking to Philipps as soon as she started dating her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
"I just remember when (she started dating Cruise) I was like, 'Are you on a plane in San Francisco with Tom Cruise? What's happening?'" She told Cohen.
Philipps also shared how the "Dawson's Creek" female lead started avoiding her while she was in a relationship with the "Mission Impossible" actor.
"I left her several voicemail messages," she said. "And then I saw her three years later and she had a kid."
While Philipps reportedly has issues with Holmes, she is known to be a close friend of another "Dawson's Creek" alum, Michelle Williams, who is also reportedly not in a good relationship with Tom Cruise's ex-wife.
The "Cougar Town" cast is in fact the godmother to Williams and Heath Ledger's daughter, Matilda.
While the cast members' friendship is being questioned, Williams is reportedly open to the idea of a "Dawson's Creek" reunion.
"He has my e-mail!" Williams said of James Van Der Beek. "He has my home phone and my cell phone, so we talk. He could totally ask! I've always said I'm totally up for reunion tours, reunion shows, so we can do that."
Like Williams, Katie Holmes also acknowledges the career opportunities that "Dawson's Creek" has given to her.
"I don't know if I have moved past it, but I don't really care," says Holmes with a smile. "I had a ball doing it, and it's really nice to be a part of something that did affect people. And it created a lot of opportunities for all of us. You can't really ask for much more than that," Tom Cruise's ex-wife explained during an interview with Elle Canada.
"Dawson's Creek" fans are "all grown up now," Holmes added. And like the viewers of the show who has kept moving after the series ended she said, "I just keep going."
