Recent “The Flash” episode guide-video featured the Scarlet Speedster's returning villains.
There's Leonard Snart a.k.a. Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and his partner Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) who will return to Central City with one more new ally, Snart's sister Lisa (Peyton List).
Also set to appear to make the life of the fastest man on earth hard is the new Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) whose brother with the same power was killed in the first episode of the show.
While the list of villains above can surely challenge the Flash (Grant Gustin), the other bad set to appear excites fans even more. One, because the actor who will portray this new villain is an icon in the comics world and two, the character is directly connected to the 1990 version of the show that aired in CBS.
Mark Hamill will reprise his role as the Trickster which he first played in the 1990s series “The Flash” that only lasted for one season.
Hamill is also known as the voice character for The Joker in several Batman-related films, series and video games. His biggest role is as Luke Skywalker in the 1977 film "Star Wars" and its two sequels, "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi."
According to “The Flash” episode guide, Hamill's the Trickster will return and send terror 20 years after his first strike.
Hamill is not the first 1990 “The Flash” alum that will appear in the show. John Wesley Shipp, who played the 90s Barry Allen, has recurring role in the show as father to Gustin's The Flash. Amanda Pays also appeared as Dr. Tina McGee, a role she also played on more than 20 years ago for CBS.
“The Flash” episode 15 will air on March 15.
