Britney was a bit more open about her new gig as an X factor judge than she was about her relationship. Spears admits she prefers having a laid-back style as opposed to having to get all glammed up for the show.
"I love my jeans and my sweats- I'm really just a tomboy at heart. So it's really hard for me to be like Kim Kardashian and be makeup- and hair-ready every time I go out of my house. I'm not a believer in that, you know?" she says.
"On the other hand, when you do wear those sweats, you're like, 'Oh God, I should step it up a notch.' "
Britney has two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, 7 and Jayden James, 6.
"X Factor" commences on September 12 on Fox. She joins the show along with VMA pre-show performer Demi Lovato for the show's revamped second season.
