Different phone manufacturers have already launched their different flagships for 2015 at the recently concluded MWC and CES 2015, but the Huawei P8 that caused too much hype last year was still a no show on the said events.
Recently, Huawei teased that the device will be launched in April on its standalone event in London followed by another teaser that surfaced on its official Weibo account.
Based on the teaser image, it may suggest that the upcoming flagship will be battery focused phone. The image shows a the number eight which clearly hints about the Huawei P8 and one of its segment has been replaced by a battery indicator.
GSM Arena points out that it might not offer a whopping battery capacity, because the Huawei P series are thin. The Chinese phone manufacturer might instead tweaked some application on the Huawei P8 to prolong its battery life, like Samsung's ultra power saving mode.
In terms of its design, it was first leaked from GSM Arena that it will showcase a unibody metal chassis and a super thin frame. But the exact measurement is still unknown.
Specs wise, the upcoming Huawei Ascend P8 is rumored to house a powerful HiSlicon Kirin 930 chipset from Huawei and a 16 nm FinFET octa-core processor, however its clock speed is still unknown.
It'll surely be more powerful as compared to its predecessor that is currently powered by HiSilicon Kirin 910T Cortex A9 quad-core processor that delivers a clocking speed of 1.8 GHz supported by a Mali - 450MP4 graphics and 2 GB RAM.
Other rumors suggest that it will sport a 13MP dual camera, LED flash and image stabilization.
