George Clooney, Hugh Laurie and Britt Robertson show us the future in this new "Tomorrowland" new trailer!
While the first trailer only feature Robertson discovering the magical pin and, in turn, the place "where you can actually change the world," the second one features more of the movie's plot. It also highlights the danger that both Robertson and Clooney have to face to save the world.
In the Brad Bird-directed film, a bad-tempered Frank (Clooney) will have to enlist the help of a teenager to save the future.
Said teenager, Casey (Robertson), finds a mysterious pin that will transport her to a mysterious world. When the people around her don't believe her, she's left to look for answers from Clooney who The Guardian described as a "boy genius turned resentful older man."
She will also meet "Dr. House" star Hugh Laurie who "appears to be evil."
Although her exact role as the girl who Clooney has been waiting for all his life was not specifically stated in the "Tomorrowland" new trailer, Robertson seems to be the savior of the future.
This new video shows more snippets of the futuristic city of Tomorrowland as well.
The trailer also shows a bit of humor - with Clooney and Robertson using a bathtub as an escape vehicle when they fall under attack.
According to The Guardian, the movie will be subtitled "A World Beyond" in the UK and renamed "TomorrowWorld" in some European countries due to conflicting names with a musical festival.
The title of the movie also has the same name as one of the attractions in Disneyworld.
The film was written and directed by Bird and co-written by Damon Lindelof and EW's Jeff Jensen. Premiering on May 22, it will also follow other new sci-fi movies, "Jupiter Ascending" and "Chappie."
