Recent "Arrow" season 3 episode guide has it that Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) will team up with Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) to kill Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).
Entertainment Weekly quoted CW Network show's executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, saying that the two femme fatale will connive to kill Malcolm if Ra's al Ghul won't do it himself.
Laurel's possible tandem with Nyssa was just triggered by the decisions made by people they count on the most. The attorney is still part of Team Arrow lead by Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).
For now, she has to prove that she belongs in that basement. Although sometimes she feels like she is unwanted, Katie Cassidy thinks her character Laurel is deserving of a spot in Team Arrow.
In an "Arrow" season 3 episode guide first read on Vulture, the 28-year-old actress thinks that the eventual Black Canary should have more time with Felicity Smoak and Roy not only because she feels comfortable working with Emily Bett Rickards and Colton Haynes but because Laurel is a hardworker.
"I really feel like there is a place for Laurel, like she absolutely should be there. I really love working with everyone," the "Arrow" cast said.
"Colton is fantastic. Emily is amazing! We've had some really incredible scenes together, and you'll get to see some coming up in this next episode. And even David Ramsey! I think it's just fun, a new dynamic. Laurel is constantly challenged, and they question her at first. But she, again, continuously is proving herself, and she does prove herself to them. I think at first they're hesitant with her being the Black Canary and going out in the streets and fighting with no training, but they actually see that she has it inside of her."
Cassidy also shared an "Arrow" season 3 episode regarding Laurel Lance's doubt if she will ever become a deserving vigilante.
"There's a moment - I shouldn't say a moment - there's a big part of her after going out there, she just starts to doubt herself and somebody kind of reminds her and just says to her, 'You're doing this because you chose to do it. You're not your sister, you're you. You're different and you have this incredible heart and drive, and everything inside of you - you're doing this not only for your sister but for you, and the city, and because you care so much and you're choosing to do it.' And I think she comes out of the episode feeling 100 percent more confident and believing in herself. It's almost as though she gets sort of off-track and then someone puts her back on track again. And she really believes in herself after this."
