"Downtown Abbey" actor Dan Stevens was recently confirmed as the newest addition to the "Beauty And The Beast" cast!
While Stevens will be taking on one half of the titular role, "Dracula Untold" star Luke Evans will be playing Belle's suitor, Gaston.
Emma Watson, who was the first to be confirmed for the role of Belle, congratulated her co-stars through Twitter resulting to some hilariously awesome exchanges amongst them.
Stevens posted a photo that read "Beast Mode" to Twitter, referring to his newest movie project.
His 24-year-old co-star reached out to the actor through the micro-blogging site as well.
"Could not be more happy that this man will be Beast!!! Welcome aboard, @thatdanstevens #beautyandthebeast," she posted along with a photo of her future onscreen love interest.
Of course, Stevens had to keep in character as he replied to his new partner. "Grrrrrr," his response to the "Harry Potter" star's tweet read, sending fans into hysterics. Meanwhile, the actress also welcomed another new 'Beauty And The Beast" cast member, "The Hobbit" star Luke Evans. "Bonjour Gaston! Welcome!" She tweeted the 35-year-old Welsh actor last Wednesday.
Evans' response to Watson was also as hilarious as Stevens'.
"Why thank you Belle!!" He replied, adding a comparison photo of himself and his upcoming character, Gaston.
The Disney remake will reportedly be a musical, with Watson admitting that she has to “start some singing lessons” when she confirmed her casting as Belle.
“It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There,'" she previously gushed on her official Facebook account. "My six year old self is on the ceiling - heart bursting.”
Bill Condon, who directed “Dreamgirls” and “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn,” will also be helming this new classical remake.
