"They thought the getaway could be an antidote to all the problems and stress of the past few months."
According to the website the stress of the awards season may have affected the couple. Both of the movies their movies - Angelina's "Unbroken" and Brad's "Fury" didn't get the recognition that they deserve at the Oscars.
Even her father, Jon Voight, who is one of the best actors in Hollywood, thinks that the movie she directed and produced deserves a spot in the Academy Awards. "I wish she had [been nominated], because I think she deserved it," he said as reported by Vulture.
"I think her direction is astounding, really astounding, and if she wasn't my daughter, I'd still say, 'I want to work for that one.' She's a great actor's director - the pace of the film, the size of the film. Unbelievably difficult stuff that she accomplished," Voight added.
Brad Pitt, on the other hand, is focusing more on doing smaller films that will make a difference in people's lives. "In Hollywood, big, more commercial films are being made and the smaller, more complex difficult subject matters where directors are reaching out for something more... Our mandate is to help these directors give these storytellers a little extra push over the hill," he told the South Korean media according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt remain quiet about the divorce rumors, but Celeb Dirty Laundry doesn't think that they are anywhere near to breaking up.
