A few weeks ago, an "Arrow" season 3 episode guide revealed that Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) and Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) might be brought close together because of the recent events that took place in the show.
The two finally learned who killed Sarah Lance in the very first episode of the third season as recalled from the last episode.
It was Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) who in the most recent episode was captured by Ra's al Ghul but then was let go because the Head of the Demon wants Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) to become his successor.
The Emerald Archer is yet to make a decision regarding the offer of his supposed foe. Still, it has already gravely affected the people closed to them. Laurel is surely devastated that Sarah's death won't get justice. Nyssa, on the other hand, will feel betrayed because her father will give the position she has been coveting to another person.
According to an "Arrow" season 3 episode guide from the Entertainment Weekly, Laurel will identify herself with Nyssa's plight and for that, they will create a bond and possibly connive to kill Malcolm Merlyn.
"If he doesn't, it sounds like Laurel and Nyssa might. While discussing Malcolm's future on the show, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg happened to mention that Laurel and Nyssa will bond during upcoming episodes," EW wrote when a fan asked for an "Arrow" season 3 spoiler-scoop.
"Seeing as they both have it out for Malcolm for his role in Sara's death, I'd put money on them teaming up to get justice."
Last month, Katrina Law also talked about this possibility in an interview with Comicbook.com.
"I feel like journey-wise between the characters, the two of them may have more in common than Nyssa had originally thought," Law said of Nyssa and Laurel.
"I think the Laurel character had lived a semi-smooth life of just going through the ins and outs of growing up and then all of a sudden she's lost her sister and now she's lost her father and now she's trying to become something that she's not necessarily good at, which is the Black Canary, but she will be."
"Arrow" season 3 episode 19 will air on March 19.
