Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama were spotted having a date in a not so romantic place - and that the UFC event.
The 22-year-old pop sensation was with her 35-year-old boyfriend when she watched the UFC 184 held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last week. The two looked great together as she was seen wearing a sexy black dress while the actor looked relaxed in a button-down shirt.
Mail Online reported that the UFC event was attended by other famous celebrities including Vin Diesel, Mark Wahlberg, Mandy Moore, Minka Kelly, and UFC superstars Ronda Rousey and Cat Zinganowere. The "Really Don't Care" hitmaker had a blast watching the fights and even shared a clip of Ronda's win against Cat.
"I LITERALLY JUST SAID "I'm gonna film this because she's probably gonna finish this in SECONDS." #FUCKYEAHRONDA," she wrote on Instagram. A few days before Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama's date night at the UFC, the singer shared a workout selfie on Instagram and captioned it: "Don't train to be skinny, train to be a #badass #healthy #fitness #selflove." Could she be training to become an MMA fighter as well?
Demi has definitely come a long way - from becoming overweight and suffering from eating disorder to transforming herself into a health buff. During an interview with Seventeen a few years ago, the "Skyscraper" singer opened up about her weight problems and eating disorder.
"I started compulsively overeating at a very young age. And then I almost stopped eating altogether at the age of 12, after being harassed by kids at school, for being fat," Lovato confessed. "Eating disorders often stem from feelings of low self esteem, depression, anxiety, or in my case, being teased and ridiculed for my weight," she explained.
Thankfully, Demi Lovato has overcome all struggles and she admitted that Wilmer Valderrama played an important role in her life.
"I almost went back to rehab for my eating disorder last summer," she told Fitness magazine. "I was obsessing over food and terrified of it at the same time. Wilmer noticed and called me out on it, which was a relief," she added.
