"Orphan Black" season 3 will air on April 18 but over at the production department, the team behind the critically acclaimed BBC America series is already done with the finale.
Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM, channel 105) visited the BBC America sci-fi series' set which turns out to be for the show's finale episode already.
One of the most fun scene involving main clones (all played by Tatiana Maslany) in the second season was the Clone dance party.
That was a hard scene to come up with but then the show delivered. In fact, some fans are still not over it. When "Orphan Black" season 3 premieres, it is not just the male clones (Ari Millen) that fans should be excited about. By the season's end, according to series creator John Fawcett, they can expect to see a sequence with them same level of intricacy as the clone dance party.
EW: Well, last year in the finale you put yourself in a bind with that crazy clone dance party scene. The payoff made it worth it, but I know it was super time consuming to pull off. Do you have anything approaching that level of intricacy this season?
JW: [Sheepishly] Yeeeeeeah, we kinda do.
EW:Why do you do this to yourself?
JW:I don't know! I think consistently we are trying on the show to one-up ourselves and try to be bigger and badder and better, so this season we've got a big surprise-a big clone surprise for the finale.
Before you get to that point, watch first how female clones deal with their male counterparts which were first revealed in the finale of the second season. Fans had a peek of the male clones in the recently released trailer wherein one of them is talking face to face with Sarah Manning who so far is the only female clone who's aware of other clones.
"Orphan Black" season 3 premiere is on April 18.
