The entertainment world mourned the recent loss of Jared Leto's long hair.
Although it was for a good cause (for his role as The Joker in the 'Suicide Squad'), Vanity Fair, Vogue and other media outlets couldn't help but lament the "end of an era."
Vanity Fair thought his ombre look was "too beautiful for this world." Meanwhile, Instyle magazine called the event the "end of an era."
Even Vogue paid tribute to the "the decade's most memorable man bun."
Of course the 30 Second Of Mars frontman's clean-shaven look is still a sight to behold, many are still wishing for his man bun and man braid to come back.
The actor himself also expressed his feelings for the huge change.
He uploaded a photo of the actual act of cutting on Instagram with the caption, "I miss my beard already."
Later on, he posted a snap of himself without the said beard, captioned "...#gone!"
