Gamers in U.S. and Europe will finally get to play "Godzilla" in their PS3 and PS4 consoles as the release date is reportedly coming this July.
Bandai Namco finally confirmed speculations that the highly anticipated "Godzilla" game will hit the North American and European soil during the 2014 Game Awards.
"Mothra has been thorn in Godzilla's side since 1964. Take care of it this summer. Preorder now for PlayStation systems," the giant gaming studio teased via Facebook.
Rocket News 24 reported that "Godzilla" game for PS4 will be available in retail while the PS3 version will be released via PlayStation Network.
Reportledy, gamers could experience the game in both the classic TOHO version and the U.S. version of Godzilla.
The decision to finally bring the highly anticipated game to the Western soil was reportedly because of the success Gareth Edward's movie achieved when it was released in theaters in May last year.
According to Game Rant it is designed for "Western Godzilla Gamers" and it's main feature is Godzilla's battle between the older Japanese version and the modern one.
"Bash your way through over 20 stages of mayhem," said in the statement.
"Collect G-Energy in each stage to Power-Up your Godzilla up to 100 Meters tall! Your offensive and defensive prowess will increase with your size."
The "Godzilla" game for PS3 and PS4 consoles is reportedly going to be an epic battle between the Kaijus, Bandai Namco announced.
"The game will also allow players to utilize a dynamic Movie-Style Camera Angle System, delivering the most epic camera angles from which to destroy both a multitude of locations as well as classic enemies such as Mothra, King Ghidorah, and Mechagodzilla.'
Mission, Diorama and King of Monsters modes will be available.
