While fans are waiting for the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the life-saving cyborg in "Terminator 5: Genisys," word has it that there are already two sequels lined up for the franchise.
However, the 67-year-old action star is reportedly returning only for one more "Terminator" movie, The Arnold Fans exclusively reported.
"Yes, of course, next year," Schwarzenegger reportedly said when asked if he'll join "T6." The website pointed out that it's not clear yet if he will be involved in more "Terminator" films in the future.
The statement immediately fueled speculations that he's preparing to hand over his famous "I'll be back" line to someone younger.
The trailer of "Terminator 5: Genisys" also featured Schwarzenegger sporting a gray hair, far from his looks when he first appeared in the cyborg-themed movie 30 years ago.
"The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath," he told MTV News. "It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."
Furthermore, he admitted that aging and having other priorities were mostly the reason why he had to miss the fourth installment of the franchsie, but he's happy that he was able to make it to "Terminator 5: Genysis" though.
"I was upset that I couldn't be in the fourth Terminator, because I was governor [of California]," he admitted. "So they did the fourth one without me, it made me cry a little bit. But I did say, 'I'll be back,' so now I'm back again and it's going to be really terrific."
"Terminator 5: Genysis" is scheduled for release in July 1, 2015.
