Disney's "Cinderella" 2015 cast Lily James has been the talk of the town following allegations that her "tiny" waist had either been retouched through CGI or photoshop.
Fans who saw the trailer and the marketing materials for the movie took to social media networks to express their disappointment in James' waist.
"Please support less CGI on tiny Cinderella waist in new film, really harmful 4 body image," a Twitter user named Poppy stated.
"I do have a problem with the fact that Cinderella is photoshopped to have the tiniest waist I've ever seen," Twitter user hi.im.shan ranted.
"Cinderella and her digitally remastered teenie tiny waist is the reason for my confidence issues," another Twitter user said.
While reps from the movie reportedly denied the allegations claiming that "Lily's waist hasn't been altered" and that she's just wearing a "corset" that made her waist looked smaller than usual, the actress herself took time to clarify the issue.
In an interview with E! News, James said that she has "naturally have a really small waist" adding that "the skirt's big and the corset pulls me in, and that's the point. That's the shape [costume designer] Sandy Powell created."
In a separate interview with the entertainment publication, James even complained that she had a hard time eating while wearing the corset.
"When [the corset] was on we would be on continuous days so we wouldn't stop for lunch or a lovely tea like this-you'd be sort of eating on the move," she explained. "In that case, I couldn't untie the corset. So if you ate food it didn't really digest properly and I'd be burping all afternoon in Richard Madden's face, and it was just really sort of unpleasant. I'd have soup so that I could still eat but it wouldn't get stuck."
In another interview, this time with L.A. Times, Disney's "Cinderella" 2015 main cast condemned the people who are accusing her of digitally altering the size of her waist.
"I think it's all very hypocritical, and they contradict themselves, and they're drawing more attention to it," she said of the issue. "I think all that stuff's so negative, and you've got to let it wash over your head."
