Brooklyn Decker tweeted an adorable photo of her dog as her famous tennis player husband announces he will be retiring from the game.
The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl, now wife of Andy Roddick and actress has been very supportive of Riddick's decision. He surprised tennis fans when he announced that this year's U.S. Open would be his last and that he plans to retire from the sport professionally.
"I know one person who's really excited about Andy Roddick's announcement," Roddick's wife, Brooklyn Decker, Tweeted on Friday, posting a smiling photo of their family pet.
Meanwhile, the "Battleship" star attended the US Open in New York yesterday as Andy defeated Rhyne Williams. And even though it was her husband who technically won the game, we have to give honorable mention to Brooklyn's look -- especially her embroidered Isabel Marant pants.
Now that the tennis professional has announced his imminent retirement, Bleacher Report pointed out that tennis fans will no longer be able to spot his lovely wife in the stands as she cheers him on to victory, but on Sept. 2, 2012, people got one more chance to ogle the sexy supermodel as she lit up the center with her bright smile.
Bleacher Report wrote "This one retirement will impact every last tennis fan who has watched coverage with the hope of spotting one of the greatest WAGs in sports. Brooklyn Decker, we will miss you." They also throw in a token nod to Andy Roddick and his contributions to the sport of tennis. "Oh, sure, we'll also miss Andy Roddick, the man whose retirement we are mourning in our own special way."
