Ratings of Fox TV series "Empire" ratings is continuously growing.
The show has broken the five-year record of "Grey's Anatomy" as the most watched regularly scheduled telecast of a broadcast network after reaching the 14 million mark in viewership last week. It is not just the ratings that grow regularly, even the profile of the entire "Empire" TV series cast.
Aside from Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson, the Fox musical drama has also been graced by the likes of supermodel Naomi Campbell and rockstar Courtney Love. In the coming episodes, the star studded "Empire" TV series cast will be joined by Grammy Award winner and nominees Jennifer Hudson and Rita Ora.
That is not the best that you can get from the hit show of 2015. In fact, series co-creator Lee Daniels is eyeing a major addition to the current line-up of the "Empire" TV series cast. That man is no other than action star Denzel Washington. Daniels is friends with Washington and the only hindrance here is the latter' busy schedule.
“It’s about his schedule,” Daniels told Entertainment Weekly regarding his plan to bring "The Equalizer" star to the "Empire" TV series cast. He added that they are also courting music legend Lenny Kravitz.
“I’ve got to lure him in with my fishhook, but he is really a great support of the show and Lenny Kravitz is going to be on the show, hopefully. We’re going to make sure we try and create a storyline for him.”
"Empire" tells the story of Lucious Lyon (Howard) and his relationship with his sons and former wife Cookie (Henson), while also dealing with problems of being a CEO of Empire Enterprises, a hip-hop music and entertainment company. While dealing with the present, Lucious will be confronted by the things he did in the past.
Also part of the "Empire" TV series cast are Trai Byers as Andre Lyon, Jussie Smollett as Jamal Lyon, Bryshere Y. Gray as Hakeem Lyon, and Grace Gealey as Anika Calhoun.
