Carrie Underwood news reported how the pregnant "Jesus Take The Wheel" singer was advised by Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott about bringing her baby on tour.
According to Carrie Underwood news from People, the two country singers seem to relate to each other's concerns about raising a family amid a busy musical career. Hillary Scott herself had her first baby 18 months ago, named Eisele Kaye.
She shared how the Grammy-winning country star plans to bring her first baby along with her while touring. Both Carrie Underwood and her NHL Nashville Predators star husband, Mike Fisher, have very hectic schedules.
"Carrie and I talked about the layout of the (tour) bus. You need to make sure the walls are padded and you can have the monitor installed in the bunk so you can look at them while you are in the front or the back lounge and make sure they are in a good position," Hillary Scott explained.
"A lot of it is finding a really great nanny - someone who can be on the road and understand that life and schedule."
Nonetheless, Hillary Scott said that she is confident that her fellow country singer will be able to adjust well with parenthood.
"It's a weird transition at first - you feel like you have to split your brain because you're in a mommy mode and then you've got to work at such an intense job, too," she said.
Earlier Carrie Underwood news reported how another country star, Brad Paisley, also shared about how the former "American Idol" champion asked him for parenting advice.
Carrie Underwood's hosting partner during the last Country Music Awards admitted that it's very different for a female artist to balance parenting and a musical career.
"My kids get to be home with my wife, their mother... and it's a much different thing when it's the mom going on the road," Brad Paisley said, reported by Country Music Times.
"I cannot imagine what it would be like if she's got a weekend with three shows, and she'd have to just leave breast milk in the fridge. That would be rough."
