Bruce Jenner's transgender reality show will reportedly be postponed, as the "Keeping up with the Kardashians" patriarch supposedly needs to focus on the investigation following the car crash that he was recently involved in.
"There is no timetable for when Bruce will resume filming the docuseries," an insider revealed to Radar Online.
"Obviously, it's not the priority right now, given the severity of the situation that Bruce is facing."
"From a public relations standpoint, it would also be in very poor taste to be filming a reality show after Bruce was involved in the crash," the insider added about putting Bruce Jenner's transgender reality show on hold.
Radar Online also revealed that the former Olympian's involvement in the car crash seems to have made him re-think his plans of having a sex change.
"Everything in Bruce's life is on hold right now, and it will likely remain that way until the police investigation is completed," the source explained.
The rumor mill has been abuzz for months about Bruce Jenner's transgender plans, which will include a tell-all interview with ABC veteran broadcaster Diane Sawyer. The 65-year-old will also reportedly have his own reality series on E! network, the same station behind the Kardashian-Jenner reality shows that turned Bruce Jenner and his family into household names.
According to an earlier report from Hollywood Life, names that are being considered for Bruce Jenner's transgender docuseries are "Trans-Jenner" and "Bruce Jenner - My Journey".
However, Radar Online reported that the fatal car crash that took place weeks ago has left Bruce Jenner with no choice but to postpone all his plans in line with transitioning into a woman.
"My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident," Bruce Jenner said in an official statement.
"It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time."
"I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible," he said.
