Christina Milian's reality show showed how the "AM to PM" singer admitted that she sometimes gets too busy to spend time with her daughter.
According to a report from Fox News, Christina Milian spoke about her reality show "Turned Up" and confessed the challenges about being a single mom.
"Sometimes I'm extremely busy and we don't have enough time in a day to spend as I wish," Christina Milian said about being around for Violet, her four-year-old child with ex-husband and R&B singer The Dream.
"But she's understanding that mommy has to make sacrifices in order for her to have a great life."
"She's my sunshine. She's the reason why I work as hard as I do now," Christina Milian explained.
Christina Milian's reality show documents how she juggles being an R&B singer, host, occasional actress, and entrepreneur all while raising Violet.
"When we are together I make the most of it, and that's what is important -- making our time quality," she said.
"I mentally prepare myself to have as much energy as possible to fulfill everything I need to in a day."
Christina Milian's reality show also features her family, whom she says are all very supportive with raising Violet amid their own personal issues and outspoken personalities.
"My nanny, family and friends are also very helpful," she said.
"We face challenges every day both big and small. But regardless we are always ready for any obstacle, and we have each other to stay grounded, grow together and for comfort."
"None of us are perfect, and we're okay with making fun of our flaws," she added.
The returning singer admitted that she had to take a break from her musical career when she had her daughter. As she plans of making a musical comeback, Christina Milian shared how she wants to inspire other single moms to still pursue their passions.
"Never give up. Never stop being creative in finding ways to get exposure," Christina Milian said.
