Singer Rihanna knows a thing or two about heartbreaks and is reportedly reaching out to "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson with fun and flirty text messages following the cheating scandal involving his girlfriend Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders. Rihanna was also spotted go-carting with Robert Kardashian over the weekend - which guy is she really into then?
A source told OK! Magazine, "They've met several times at award bashes over the years. RiRi thinks he's very cute, but nothing ever came of it because he was attached to Kristen Stewart -- and it's not her style to steal someone else's man."
The Grammy-award winning Barbados native singer began texting the star after news broke that Kristen was cheating with "Snow White" director Rupert Sanders.
"She got Rob's phone number from a mutual friend and has been sending him sexy, funny texts to cheer him up," the source continued. "At first, Rob thought someone punked him. Eventually, Rihanna convinced him she was for real, but Rob has been resisting her."
Pattinson's friends have reportedly told him to "start enjoying life again."
Rihanna recently sat down for a candid interview to Oprah Winfrey which aired on the OWN Network's "Oprah's Next Chapter" in which she revealed that she is single but still loves Chris Brown, whom she broke up with in 2009 after he assaulted her.
"We've been working on our friendship again," a tearful Rihanna explained to Winfrey. "We've built a trust again. We love each other and we probably always will and that's not anything that we're gonna try to change. That's not something you can shut off if you've ever been in love. We've worked on it little by little. It's not easy. The main thing for me is that he's at peace."
However, Pattinson may not be the only guy catching the R&B singer's eye.
Rihanna was recently spotted with Rob Kardashian racing go-karts at the Racer's Edge Indoor Karting track in Burbank, Calif., according to Yahoo! News. The two have people wondering if love is blossoming or if they are just good friends.
