In a very rare event, Kevin Hart surprisingly praised his ex-wife Torrei Hart for apparently "reaching out" to him and fiancée Eniko Parrish.
In an interview with Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" last week, "The Wedding Ringer" star shared that despite previous rows the "Atlanta Exes" cast and his soon to be wife are now getting along.
"Now they do. I actually, recently called Torrei and gave Torrei the biggest compliment ever because Torrei reached out after the New Year and just said, 'I want our relationship to be better.' It's not that they never got along...they just don't talk," the 35-year-old comedian revealed.
Adding, "Now that they've been talking and communicating I think it's great...Where they are now is dope."
Hart, however mentioned that while his fiancée and his ex-wife are now in good terms, it's unlikely that Torrei would attend his wedding, but she's welcome if she wants to.
"I know Torrei ain't gonna come to no wedding. If she wanted to, she could," he said.
Kevin Hart also took time to clarify the issues pertaining to his somewhat controversial engagement, when asked if he intentionally timed his proposal to the debut of "Atlanta Exes" show, where Torrei is part of the cast.
"A complete accident," he explained. "Listen to me and I'm glad you brought this up. A, that was a 110 percent accident. I had no idea. Listen, it was Eniko's 30th birthday...That night was planned. It was a freak of nature."
Kevin previously took to Twitter to address the issue his proposal with fiancée Eniko Parrish.
"I wish y'all could see my face when I read some of the comments that you guys leave....I just want to take a second to share some COMMONSENSE with you guys!!! August 18th was @neekibaby actual Birthday...it wasn't the day before or the day after," he posted.
He added, "I will say this one more time & never repeat myself again....I wish my X Wife nothing but the best in life...I've moved forward with my life & have been doing so for the last 6 years. The only thing that was on my mind yesterday was making sure my lady had an amazing 30th B Day. I'm happy to say that my now FIANCé was blown away by the entire evening. #MissMeWithTheBullshit #KillNegaitivityWithPositivity."
Torrei, however, did not seem to mind the issue, she even reportedly said that the engagement of her ex-husband was "beautiful" as reported by Eurweb.
