Microsoft has confirmed that a refreshed model of the Lumia 635 is already on the list.
The Lumia 635 with 1GB of RAM has been spotted at Telenor Hungary yesterday. The Redmond giant has updated its specs listing that states its RAM is either "512 MB or 1 GB."
This suggests that the upcoming Lumia phone might hit select markets, and will be available on other carriers such as Telekom, Movistar, TIM and Wind, GSM Arena reports.
The Lumia 635 with 1GB of RAM carries the same specs and features of the original model. It is expected to come with a 4.5-inch FWVGA 854x480 screen, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400, 8 GB of storage, 5 megapixel rear camera without a flash and an LTE capable device.
GMS Arena adds that the Lumia 635 with 1GB RAM has lesser battery life. Its standby time has been reduced to 19 days from 25 days.
The Redmond giants's first Lumia phones with 1GB of RAM include Lumia 532, Lumia 535 and Lumia 435. Reports claim that Microsoft is slowly ditching the 512 of RAM on its low-end Lumia phones to set a baseline of 1GB of RAM for its Windows 10 mobile platforms, so that it can run the new OS smoothly. Meanwhile, Microsoft has already announced that Windows 10 may run on phones with 512MB of RAM.
On the other hand, another Lumia phone has been spotted at the event, the Lumia 640 DTV with the mode number RM-1072 and will include integrated digital television (DTV) support.
According to Janela Tech a Brazilian tech website, the Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual SIM DTV will sport a 5-inch HD screen display that renders a 720x1280 pixels resolution, and it will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU coupled with a 1GB of RAM.
It has an 8GB of expandable storage onboard and 8.7-megapixel rear camera, and a 0.9-megapixel front-facing camera.
These two upcoming Lumia phones are expected to be unveiled by Microsoft on its March 2 event at MWC 2015 in Barcelona.
