Zlatan Ibrahimovic Transfer To Real Madrid From Barcelona Almost Happened Said The Swedish Player's Agent

Zlatan Ibrahimovic transfer is probably a biennial event in football.

The Swedish football player, currently playing for France's Paris Saint Germain, have been to six different teams since 2001 and mind you, those teams are no joke.

Plus, whenever he is moved, Ibrahimovic always plays an integral part of the club. Among those he played for are Ajax, Juventus, rivals Inter and AC Milan and Barcelona where he allegedly had a forgettable stint.

Zlatan allegedly didn't really have a great time in Barcelona. In fact, he reportedly left the dub with distaste due to a misunderstanding with then coach Pep Guardiola.

He is so bitter about it he almost resorted to moving to Barca's arch rivals Real Madrid. According to his agent Mino Raiola, Zlatan Ibrahimovic transfer to the one half of El Clasico almost push through when his client left Camp Nou in 2010. The main reason behind is Zlatan not getting along well with coach Pep Guardiola and Lionel Messi.

"I don't think he regrets anything [but] Zlatan wanted to play for Real when he left Barca. It would have been the ideal move -- the perfect revenge against Guardiola," the agent said when asked if the PSG star regrets not being able to play for the Spanish powerhouse.

When asked why Zlatan Ibrahimovic transfer to Santiago Bernabeu stadium didn't materialize, Raiola said it was on the Real Madrid's end.

"Real Madrid is a political club and not a normal club," he said. "I don't understand the way they do things. It would have been the perfect club for [Ibrahimovic] because he's a great player, he's passionate and because he can do something amazing at any moment. I don't know if it was my fault."

Adding, "Ancelotti (who brought Zlatan to PSG in 2012) wanted him and I went to a meeting in Madrid, but [Madrid director general] Jose Angel Sanchez called [PSG president Nasser] Al Khelaifi and cancelled it."
