From a minor character in USA Network legal drama "Suits" to one of the most interesting among all "12 Monkeys" TV series cast.
Amanda Schull is probably one of the best actresses right now on television. In both shows the 36-year old actress is portraying two different intelligent woman.
In "Suits," she is Katrina Bennett, the assistant of the rude and sometimes misunderstood Louise. In "12 Monkeys," she is Dr. Cassandra Railly, a brilliant virologist tasked to save the world.
While portraying two different roles seems a challenge, Schull says it is what makes her feel excited to go to work. In an interview with Star Pulse, she talked about her character and shared some major "12 Monkeys" TV series spoiler.
"At the risk of sounding like a complete sap, this has been a dream come true. I love the role, I love the material, I love the people I work with...I couldn't feel more strongly about it," the lead "12 Monkeys" TV series cast said.
"Every episode is a wonderful challenge in the best possible way," Schull added. "[Railly's] outlook on the whole situation, on the players involved and the virus and the '12 Monkeys,' begins to take a turn. She realizes that she needs to do things she never thought she was capable of."
The "12 Monkeys" TV series, which airs every Saturday on Syfy, is an adaptation of the 1995 film of the same name starring Bruce Willis. It is about time traveler James Cole (Aaron Stanford) who went back to 2015 from 2043 to stop the release of a virus that wiped out most of the population of the world.
The virus was created by an organization called "Army of the Twelve Monkeys." To make Cole's mission possible, he sought the help of Dr. Railly and Jennifer Goines (Emily Hampshire), a math genius with mental issues.
Also in the "12 Monkeys" TV series cast are Kirk Acevedo as Ramse, Cole's best friend, Barbara Sukowa as Katarina Jones, creator and operator of the time machine, and Tom Noonan as the Pallid Man a.k.a. the face of the Army of the Twelve Monkeys.
