The most recent "The Flash" episode featured Robbie Amell's Ronnie Raymond trying to get accustomed to his life as one half of Firestorm. As you can recall from the earlier episodes, Raymond vanished from the STAR Labs only to be revived by Prof. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) through science. Their bodies and brains were combined and gained superpowers which the government is trying to get their hands on.
Gen. Wade Eiling tried to get them for military purposes but with the help of The Flash (Grant Gustin), they successfully secured their freedom.
Aside from getting their lives back, the two persons that make up Firestorm also reunited with their loved ones, although just for a brief moment.
For Ronnie Raymond, he and fiancee Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) were able to rekindle their romance. Ronnie left the city but he is sure to return to Central City. However, once that happens, there is a possibility that the Caitlin she left will be different.
Comics fans know that Dr. Snow is the alter ego of Killer Frost, one of the main nemesis of the Firestorm. Now, based on an interview with Comicbook Resources, Amell teased Panabaker's character could become the DC comics supervillain. He didn't specify though whether it will happen in the upcoming "The Flash" episodes or this season.
"They are definitely talking about Killer Frost, and I know Danielle is excited about that. It would be fun to turn your fiancée into your enemy. We could have a great time with that," Amell said.
"I think that's a little ways down the road. There are a lot of big Flash villains introduced already. Like everything else, you need to work for it. You need to earn it. I am excited for Danielle, though. I think there's a tease coming in the next few episodes for Killer Frost."
So Firestorm vs Killer Frost in the upcoming "The Flash" episodes? Comic book fandom won't get any awesome than this if ever. For now, the STAR Labs crew will have to deal with Gorilla Grodd (teased at end of "Fallout" episode), Captain Cold and Heatwave, and of course, the dark secrets of Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).
"The Flash" episode 15 will air on March 17.
