| By

Shortly after the confirmation of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight, rumors saying the tickets for the mega bout has been sold out also surfaced.

Well, those reports are not true. If you are hoping to see the boxing match of the decade live at the MGM Grand Arena, you can still book a seat or two as according to an official from the said venue, there's only a computer glitch.

"A computer glitch made it appear the host MGM Grand was sold out for May 1 and May 2 minutes after the announcement that Mayweather would fight Pacquiao, but the hotel was busily putting the word out Friday night that it has plenty of rooms available for the event's weekend," said MGM Grand Arena official Martin Rogers in a report by ABS-CBN.

However, securing a ticket for the Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight might cost you a fortune as the price could range to a minimum of $4,000. According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, the lower level face price will be around $3,500. This amount broke the record of the highest boxing match ticket price at $2,887.69 set in Sept. 14, 2013, also by Mayweather when he battled Canelo Alvarez.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight was confirmed by "Money Man" himself yesterday through his own selfie app Shots. One of the reasons why the mega bout pushed through is the agreement between two broadcast networks that the two fighters work for.

According to reports, Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Manny Pacquiao fight will be aired live both by Showtime Sports, to whom the undefeated American fighter has a deal with, and HBO Sports which holds the rights for the Filipino fighters' bouts.

"This deal is the product of a lot of hard work," Showtime Sports' executive VP and GM Stephen Espinoza told media.
