NBC TV series Constantine has ended for almost a week now and yet, there are still no words from the network whether it is renewed or cancelled. The show based on comic series “Hellblazer” starring Matt Ryan on the title role aired its 13th episode titled “Waiting for the Man” on February 13. This episode saw an estimated 0.40 million rise compared to the previous week which garnered 2.9 million.
While other comics inspired shows like “The Walking Dead”, “Arrow”, and “The Flash” are having a great time, “Constantine” TV series is always fighting for its life. It didn't perform great in the ratings game in its 13 episodes compared to other shows that air in the same time slot as them. This is one of the probable reasons why NBC is taking too long to announce its fate.
While some “Constantine” TV series fans are growing impatient, co-developer Daniel Cerone hints there is still a reason to hold tight and hope for a renewal. In a series of tweets, Cerone discussed the real status of his show. In fact, he, co-developer David S. Goyer, and the rest of the writers already has plans for second season.
.@justdreamin91 FYI, NBC won't decide on #Constantine renewal until May, after they see their new pilots. That will be time to activate.

He also shared to fans how they can help or not help in “Constantine” TV series renewal.
FYI, all 13 eps of #Constantine avail to buy on Amazon and iTunes. Only last 5 free on NBC and Hulu. Working to make all free for streaming. — Daniel Cerone (@DanielVCerone) February 18, 2015
.@ninjacentralNZB Yes, streaming on demand counts. The more we can show measurable demand for #Constantine, the better our chances are.

Solid fans of “Constantine” TV series has been going around the internet to save thew show. Website SaveConstantine.com has been built as a call for fans to unite and talk NBC, or other networks, into renewing the show. The campaign encourages people to write a letter to the network and speak about why it should renew “Constantine.” Before the SaveConstantine.com, a Twitter campaign has also been launched in November last year. This is joined by “Constantine” TV series stars, writers, staff, and fans. Daniel Cerone tweeted back in November last year.
The producers are confidant. Constantine higher ratings than Hannibal and CLIMBING. Hannibal got 2nd season. So keep watching! #Constantine — Daniel Cerone (@DanielVCerone) November 24, 2014
