Grammy Award winning singer Taylor Swift did in face get asked to leave the Kennedy wedding after she went there with her boyfriend Conor Kennedy.
TV host Kathie Lee Gifford insisted that the country singer was asked to leave the event twice. The host spoke about it this morning during the Today show. Earlier this week it was reported how mother of the bride Victoria Gifford Kennedy - Kathie's step daughter - told the Boston Herald how the 22-year-old singer - accompanying boyfriend Conor Kennedy - was asked to leave on two occasions - but didn't.
'Why can't I stay out of trouble? I was just a guest at that wedding. [Kyle] is actually my granddaughter by marriage ,' Gifford, 59, explained. 'The truth is, because I was there, Vicki's account is accurate,' she went on, explaining the Speak Now singer and 18-year-old Conor were asked to leave twice.
Kathie spotted swift hanging around in the hallway of the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, but didn't realise there was any drama until she spoke to Victoria.
Meanwhile, Taylor's rep denies those claims, however, and confirms to ABC News that Swift not only was invited to the wedding, the bride actually thanked Swift for being there.
