A few months before "Furious 7" release date, the soundtrack with seven singles is unleashed, and co-star Dwayne "Rock" Johnson talks about the death of Paul Walker.
It has been more than a year since the fatal accident that took Paul Walker's life, and his co-actors from the beloved "Fast & Furious" franchise continues to pay tribute to the fallen actor. Most recent thoughts on his death were offered by the big man himself, Dwayne "Rock" Johnson.
In a report by Classicalite, it was said that "Furious 7" co-star Dwayne "Rock" Johnson was in his car when he heard of the sudden death of Paul Walker. Unable to contain his emotions, he had to reportedly pull over by the side of the road and cry for the death of his friend.
"It was one of the most difficult things we had all gone through," said Dwayne "Rock" Johnson in the report. "It affected the movie in that it completely shut it down, which was the right and appropriate thing to do."
He continued, "You're left with, 'What do we do next? What's the most appropriate step? What's the most respectful step?' We did what I feel was the best thing, which was create a little bit of space, make a little bit of time and regroup, pull our wagons back and then move forward with how we're going to make the best movie possible, with the intention of respecting Paul and his legacy."
On a lighter note, the soundtrack for "Furious 7" has been launched, months prior to the film's release date. Two singles have been released: "Ride Out" by Kid Ink, Y.G., Wale, Tyga and Rich Homie Quan and "Go Hard Or Go Home" by Khalifa and Iggy Azalea.
These two singles will be part of the "Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" with a March 17 release date. The rollout of other singles in the soundtrack will be periodically released and with accompanying videos.
"Furious 7" release date is on April 3.
