Lindsay Lohan news reported how the "Speed The Plow" star was reportedly unable to complete her court-ordered community service while she was in London. According to a report from In Touch Weekly, the actress could face up to 30 days in jail for not being able to finish the said requirement.
It was 2012 when Lindsay Lohan made news for getting into a car crash with an 18-wheeler truck while driving at Los Angeles' Pacific Coast Highway. As a result, the former child star was sentenced to 30-days of community service, required to attend a rehabilitation facility for 90 days, and have 180 days of psychiatric counselling.
Lindsay Lohan was eventually given the permission to finish her community service while in London, where she relocated to last year after bagging the lead title for a David Mamet West End production entitled "Speed The Plow".
The reformed party girl teamed up Community Service Volunteers (CVS), a London-based charitable organization that helps disabled and disadvantaged individuals.
However, Lindsay Lohan news from Daily Mail reported that she has been absent from serving at CVS. The movie star also allegedly hasn't reached the required number of community service hours during the court's given deadline.
"These were very, very basic inquiries, such as how was Lindsay monitored, who supervised her work - it does seem odd that none of that information has been sent," an insider told Radar Online.
If proven that she has not yet completed her required hours of community service, Lindsay Lohan could be sentenced to jail for 30 days.
Aside from Lindsay Lohan's legal woes related to her 2012 car crash, she is also facing another legal drama involving FOX Network. According to a report by USA Today, a lawsuit was filed following a controversial 2014 FOX News show that threw cocaine use allegations towards Lindsay Lohan and her mother, Dina Lohan.
The lawsuit was filed in New York earlier this month by the former Disney star and her equally controversial mother. The two accused TV personalities Sean Hannity and Michelle Fields of defamation after they made on-air comments last February 4, 2014 about how Lindsay Lohan and Dina Lohan allegedly use cocaine together.
