Robin Williams suicide is one of the saddest moments last year, not just in the entertainment industry but also to everyone who was able to have their hearts touched by one of his movies.
The iconic comedian abruptly ended his life, which according to reports is due to depression. He died on Aug. 11, 2014 in his home in Paradise Cay, Calif.
It has not been one year since the man behind "Jumanji," "Dead Poets Society," "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Good Will Hunting" passed away and it is understandable that his family hasn't completely moved on from the tragedy.
While their friends continue to support them in these dark times, one TV station is doing the opposite. According to a report by The Mirror, a British Television station is doing a documentary regarding the Robin Williams suicide and the late actor will be portrayed by a porn star who rose to prominence because of his splitting similarities with Robin Williams.
This Robin Williams suicide documentary will be featured in Channel 5's series "Autopsy." The actor who will play him is named Alain L'Yle from France and uses Alain Robin as his screen name. The French actor even has a photo of himself with Robin Williams in his own website.
The news of the Robin Williams suicide docu series reached the actor's family and instead of feeling elated, they felt disturbed by this move of the British company. According to a family friend based on report by Mirror, the series is just taking them backwards.
"With each passing day the pain for Robin's family eases just a fraction but something as disturbing as this just takes them backwards," Mirror wrote quoting a Williams family friend.
"Why anyone would want to make such a programme is beyond comprehension. His wife and family will be utterly dismayed that someone is seeking to profit from Robin's death in such a grotesque way."
The family also called out the producers of the Robin Williams suicide docu for putting in a porn star for the lead role.
"The producers should be ashamed of themselves. I hope people refuse to watch."
