Fans can turn to a "Orphan Black" comic book miniseries if they want to know more about the female clones (all played by Tatiana Maslany.
Once the show gets on air again, fans need to prepare themselves as a major backstory about one of the main female clones will be explored. "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere date is on April 18 and aside from the arrival of male clones (who Ari Millen portrays), people should not forget about the seestrahs.
In an interview TV Line, series co-creator John Fawcett warned that some "blanks" regarding the past of female clones will be filled. He didn't emphasize though whether it will happen on the "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere episode or who among the clone will be the center of the backstory.
"We're always trying to go forward and fill in blanks as we push a plot and a story forward," co-creator said.
"That being said, it is an important part of the story that we understand how they found out that that they were clones. I don't know if that's necessarily going to find its way into season 3, but needs to find its way in somewhere."
Right now, among the things that are sure to happen when the "Orphan Black" season 3 premiere episode comes is the male clones going after their female counterparts as ordered by Castor.
What's bad for the first wave of clones is that the male ones have the advantage over them since these male lab projects are military trained and were given information about their preys.
Another major change for this season of the BBC American show is Delphine now working for the Dyad Institute. Delphine (Evelyne Brochu), who is the girlfriend of Cosima, replaced Rachel Duncan who was last seen in the second season finale attacked by Sarah and got hit on the eye leaving her with just one eye open.
Aside from Tatiana Maslany, other actors who will reprise their roles in "Orphan Black" season 3 are Maria Doyle Kennedy as Siobhan Sadler, Dylan Bruce as Paul Dierden, Jordan Gavaris as Felix ("Fee") Dawkins, and Kevin Hanchard as Detective Arthur "Art" Bell.
