One good question: Why does Jason Voorhees keep coming in the following movie, after meeting his death in the previous "Friday The 13th" film?
Brad Fuller finally addresses fans' many questions about the death and resurrection of the classic villain, Jason Voorhees. He also talks about the upcoming "Friday the 13th" movie, where hopefully this question is answered come its 2016 release date.
In a recent interview with Esquire, producer Brad Fuller talks about the upcoming "Friday the 13th" and quells rumors about Jason Voorhees not appearing on the 13th installment. Apart from Jason Voorhees returning, "Friday the 13th" will return to a camp and there will be kids on drugs and having sex. Fuller also talks about the storyline, which will definitely involve how Jason Voorhees keeps getting resurrected after meeting a tragic end by the end of the film.
"There's always been this supernatural aspect to these movies," said Fuller. "It defies logic that, you see Jason get killed in every movie, including ours, the 2009 one. And then he comes back and no one's ever really investigated what that is. So that's something that I think about a little bit. Like it is supernatural, but what is he? Those are the things that we're toying with. Nothing has been decided. But those type of things: How does he always come back?"
Brad Fuller also talks about why this monumental 13th "Friday the 13th" is taking so long to complete, with release date delayed over time. In the same interview, he said, "There have been titles in my past that I've done, movies that I've made, that I was not as passionate about the source material and I've learned my lesson from doing that."
Jason Voorhees and the entire horrifyingly classic "Friday the 13th" movie release date has been set on May 13, 2016.
