How To Get Away With Murder Episode Guide: Annalise Will Crumble And Her Childlike Side Will Show With Arrival Of New Character

| By

As always, ABC TV series "How to Get Away with Murder" ended its latest episode with a bang, something that will make you feel depress if you're the kind who's deeply invested to this character that took the fall. You will ask why (spoiler)? How can she stomach doing that thing? But then again, this is the world of Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and things doesn't look exactly they way they appear. Well, so much for the last episode to prevent any unnecessary spoilers. Someone fans also need to watch out for is this new character that will play a big role on how Annalise will handle the mess she's currently in.

Cicely Tyson's Ophelia, Annalise's mom, made her debut during the last episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" but only for a brief moment. Still, that one-minute or less exposure is enough to get audience feel so intrigued about the new character, especially when she asked her daughter if she killed her husband Sam (Tom Verica). It looks like Ophelia is as smart, if not smarter, as Annalise and it will be easy for her to dissect what is going on her daughter's mind.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Tyson shared some information about the relationship between Ophelia and Annalise and even shared some "How to Get Away with Murder" episode guide. She said Ophelia is suspicious about her daughter's role in murder of Sam.

"She asks her and tells her that it wouldn't make any difference to her," Tyson said.

"You get a sense of where some of Annalise's rough edges come [from]," Nowalk says. "Ophelia brings out a very raw, childlike side to Annalise." (Fitting for an episode titled "Mama's Here Now.") The showrunner promises, "We'll discover where [her] wounds came from and what Annalise's original scar is."

"How to Get Away with Murder" episode 13, its third to the last, will air on February 12. Aside from Davis, the show also stars Billy Brown as Detective Nate Lahey, Alfred Enoch as Wes Gibbins, and Katie Findlay as Rebecca Sutter.
