Xiaomi had a successful flash sale on Tuesday with its Mi4. It was reported that its 40,000 units were sold out in 15 seconds as posted on its Mi India's official Facebook account.
But no words from the Chinese phone manufacturer about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G sales were reported.
Many have speculated that the Xiaomi Redmi 4G did not sell out like the Mi4. So, Xiaomi dropped off its flash sale mode on the said device. Earlier today, it took to social media to confirm the availability of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4g without pre-registration on Flipkart.
"Good news! We now have sufficient stock of Redmi Note 4G for all Mi fans and you can purchase yours any time you want from Flipkart & Airtel India, just in time to catch the ICC Cricket World Cup." it wrote on its Mi India official Facebook page.
According to Gadgets NDTV, Flipkart hasn't started selling the Redmi Note 4G yet, but it is expected to go live soon.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G is priced at Rs 9,999 on Flipkart and select physical stores of Airtel.
Like its sibling, the Xiaomi Redmi 3G, it features a 5.5" HD IPS display and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 clocked at 1.6GHz processor.
It is supported by a 2GB RAM coupled with Adreno 305 GPU. Camera wise, it is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 28mm wide-angle lens and 5MP on the front.
A powerful 3100mAh li-ion polymer battery was baked in to support 14 hours of browsing or 38 hours of talk time. It runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with MIUI 5, and can be updated to MIUI 6 anytime this week. Other notable features include, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Wi-fi dual band, and dual-microphone noise suppression.
Meanwhile, the next flash sale for the Xiaomi Mi4 will be on Feb. 17, and pre-registration has been started.
