Rushed Or Epic? Is Flashpoint The New Center Of Story In CW TV Series 'The Flash?' Spoiler Ahead

| By

As Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), and Dr. Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) work on the mystery that is Firestorm (Robbie Amell and Victor Garber), Joe West had Cisco reluctantly working on the murder of Mrs. Allen. At the end of the recent episode "The Nuclear Man", (The Flash TV series spoiler ahead), they found out that Barry's blood is on the murder scene, thus, making them think that the Scarlet Speedster could be behind the gruesome killing. However, before Joe speculate anything, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) pointed something that could be a game changer, time-travel.

The show also released a promo for its next episode titled "Fallout" and there, the characters are talking about time-travel. This clip somehow opened flood gates for Flashpoint discussions. In case you don't know, Flashpoint, which has been adapted into an animated film in 2013, is one of the most popular comic book crossover story in "The Flash" wherein Barry traveled back in time to save her mother, only to see his previous world completely changed. The Justice League was not formed. Bruce Wayne never really lived. Instead, it was his father, Thomas Wayne, who donned the Batman cape. Cyborg became the world's quintessential superhero, Superman never existed, and Aquaman and Wonder Woman are on the verge of starting World War 3.

Is CW Network TV series "The Flash" going to touch this storyline? That might be unlikely. The series is too young and still needs to step up major characters from "Flashpoint."

To know more about "The Flash" episode 15, read the episode guide below:
