Jordan King Abdullah II And Prince Charles Of Wales Team Up Vs ISIS As Airstrikes Against Extremists Continue To 3rd Day

| By

Jordan is still grieving for the brutal killing of 26-year-old Moaz al Kasasbeh by the Islamic State (ISIS) group, with all of the actions recorded in a video that has since been spread on the internet.

As a retaliation, the Middle East Kingdom launched bombings against the barbaric militants, with Jordan King Abdullah II reportedly leading the attacks. The assault is expected to continue in the coming days.

While Jordan airstrike against ISIS is ongoing, the government has reportedly welcomed a formidable foe, Prince Charles of Wales. The eldest child and heir apparent of Queen Elizabeth II is in Jordan as part of his six-day Middle East tour. He was greeted by Jordanian King Abdullah II's religious adviser, Prince Ghazi Bin Muhammad.

"This initiative comes at a time when the situation in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere could not be more desperate. I do not need to tell you of course the horrors that have been inflicted in the name of religion," Prince Charles said at the start of an interfaith meeting of senior religious clerics from a range of faiths in the Jordanian capital Amman.

"All those who have any feeling have watched in agony as people of all faiths have been persecuted, and driven from their homes, tortured and killed in the most barbaric way imaginable."

The Wales Prince is expected to express Britain's support for Jordan King Abdullah II and his quest to obliterate ISIS group.

As of today, Jordan claimed they have already performed 56 bombing raids on ISIS territories, particularly in southern border of Syria. This action, as they claim, is their way of defending not only their country and the people but also their faith.

"Initially we were participating with two to four aircraft. After what they have done to our brave pilot, First Lieutenant Muath al-Kasasbeh, and their brutal action in executing him, then we decided to revenge," Major General Mansour Al Jobour told NBC News.

"We immediately started the air campaign that we proclaimed "Muath Air Campaign." We are flying almost more than twenty missions a day."

"We are defending not only our country but our faith and our religion."
