It was previously rumored that the first "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer would come with the premiere screening of the Wachowski's latest sci-fi "Jupiter Ascending" which stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis, as announced by Latino Review reported Umberto Gonzales. It was also rumored that the trailer would be shown at Super Bowl XLIX.
Both Super Bowl XLIX and Jupiter Ascending's weekend has passed and there's still no trailer.
Warner's next release would be "Focus" starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie, the two are coincidentally co-stars in "Suicide Squad," also from Warner.
Now, various sources are reporting that "Mad Max: Fury Road" is the next choice for the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer to premiere with. The "Fury Road" reboot has long been a dormant title under the studio until it was greenlit just recently. The movie star Tom Hardy playing the lead role of Max Rockatansky and is co-starred by Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Hugh Keays-Byrne and is directed by the original "Max Max" director George Miller.
Warner Bros. "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to define the DC universe by introducing new characters to build the story that leads up to the "Justice League" movies in 2017 and 2019.
"Fast & Furious" actress Gal Gadot and "Game of Thrones" actorJason Momoa are expected to appear as "Wonder Woman" and "Aquaman," respectively.
Ben Affleck will be introduced as the new "Batman" while Henry Cavill will reprise his role as "The Man of Steel."
Co-stars include Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
