Courtney Love, New Cast Of Fox TV Series 'Empire,' As Cookie's Ally; Lucious Secret To Get To One Family Member

| By

Just last week, People let people see what Courtney Love looks like in her guest role for Fox musical drama "Empire."

The rock singer joining the "Empire" TV series cast as a recurring guest star was first revealed in October last year. She will play Elle Dallas, "a hard rock powerhouse, who is part of Empire Entertainment's stable of artists." The entertainment magazine also revealed that she will appear on the sixth episode of the show.

More details have emerged regarding the character of Courtney Love and by the looks of it, it seems it is more intriguing than what is advertised.

In a report by the Entertainment Weekly, it said that the new "Empire" TV series cast member will be teaming up with Taraji Henson's Cookie Lyon, the tough and determined estrange wife of Empire Enterprise CEO Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard).

"Calm down. Next week's episode is probably the season's juiciest yet, which is thanks to Courtney Love's arrival as an Empire singer who hasn't had a hit in years," EW wrote when a follower asked for a scoop regarding "Empire" TV series.

"She'll find an ally in Cookie, who's on edge once she finds out about Lucius's impending marriage to Anika. (So much for his flowery romantic gesture last week!)"

Aside from a scoop about the new "Empire" TV series cast, EW also shared something about the darkest secret of Lucious. In the first episode, Lucious shot Bunkie to death, a crime he has well covered up. However, that might not last that long as one important person is about to uncover it.

"Plus, someone in the family finally discovers the secret about Bunkie, and the question is who he/she will tell first once the secret's out!" EW posted.

Aside from Courtney Love, other music royalties who are set to join the "Empire" TV series cast are award-winning singers Jennifer Hudson and Rita Ora.
